Attention fellow members. As of today September 20, 2008 SG-R is no more. Due to my lack of real life situations and putting so much effort in the future if SG-R, i have slacked on whats really important. As some know i have a youngster to take care of and i have to give full support to him in every way. Note this SG-R will not be gone forever. It might takes days, weeks, maybe even months but as of now i just need to study, and think about what I will do fully. I am truly sorry and this dosent mean i am leaving this clan un divided. It also means i am not ditching it. Just taking time out to prepare for whats ahead. I cant say much more and i know how some of you may feel but its a risk i have to take to become better and make more choices. I have no problem with the remaining of you joining another clan. All i ask is for you to remember whats was before. Some of us came from A_S. Then went to DRC. Now SG-R. I promised myself i wouldnt make another transfer after DRC and that promise if still kept. In time i will come back and it will all be new. But as of now i need rest and time to think. I will still get online at times but dont espect me on much. This is my last thought towards this clan as of now. SG-R is forever. Remember that.

Aizens Throne

Sōsuke Aizen---Nelo_Angelo1

Aizen is a soft-spoken intellectual, accented by glasses during his time as a Soul Reaper captain. While he appears to be very kind to his subordinates, he cares very little for them in truth. According to Aizen himself, he is not bound by morals and will therefore stop at nothing to further his ambitions, including manipulating or killing anyone if he deems it necessary.
Aizen controls his new minions either through acquired respect, as revealed through Ulquiorra Schiffer's conversation with Orihime Inoue where he tells her that they are all here to further Aizen's ambition, or through fear, such as when he threatened to kill Grimmjow Jeagerjaques if he attacked Kaname Tōsen. It was also stated by the arrancar Iceringer that they follow Aizen because he has no fear, which beings born from fear and despair find inspiring.
It has been conjectured that Aizen's true objective is to overthrow the king of Soul Society. To do this, he needs the royal key, a tri-pronged golden key that opens a portal to the dimension that the king resides in. While the location of the key is known only to General Yamamoto, Aizen knows how the original was created and how to manufacture another. In order to create the key, Aizen needs to gather 100,000 souls in Karakura Town which has an unusually large concentration of spirit particles. Aside from killing the many souls used in its creation, creating the key will also vaporize most of Karakura Town.

Gin Ichimaru---Bsuch

Gin's most distinguishing characteristic is his expression; with his slitted eyes and ever-present grin, his face looks like that of a fox. Ichigo derisively nicknames him "fox-face" in their first meeting because of this (in the English dub, he instead replies with a more generalized insult). He also has unusual silver hair, which has a purple tint to it in the anime; his name refers to his hair color. Gin rarely removes his smile or opens his eyes; in the case of the latter, such moments serve to identify when he is significantly annoyed or angry. There are only three times when he opens his eyes: once in a flashback when he and Aizen rescued Momo Hinamori and other students from hollows, once during a battle with 10th Division Captain Toshiro Hitsugaya, and finally when he tried to slay Rukia Kuchiki. His eyes are alternately portrayed as light green/blue, blood red, and yellow. By contrast, there are far more moments when he stops smiling, those usually being lesser degrees of annoyance, genuinely apologetic moments, or in deep thought of a sudden epiphany. Gin's constant happy facade tends to have the opposite effect on those he meets, making them instantly distrust him. His use of sarcasm only further encourages this, especially in those who have known him for a long time. Rukia comments on how she felt like snakes were wrapping around her neck whenever Gin spoke, despite the fact that he was speaking to her brother at the time. Kaname Tōsen notes that Gin has a similar effect on just about everyone when explaining Wonderweiss Margera's frightened reaction to Gin. In the anime, Gin speaks with a distinct Kyoto Dialect, which is indirect and polite. His English dubbed voice is also formal and polite, but with a rather mocking and facetious undertone. After betraying Soul Society, Gin switches his captain's attire for a similar but unmarked garment. He now wears a long, white robe over his normal Soul Reaper hakama. The hilt of his zanpakutō is visible sticking out from under the robe through the opening down to his waist. Later, Ichimaru is seen wearing a white hakama like the arrancar, instead of the black one he first appears in. Gin wears his robe open in a narrow 'V' down to his waist, closed to below the hips, then open again to the hem, which falls about mid-calf. His robe has long bell sleeves, into which he hides his hands like one does with kimono sleeves. The lining of the robe and edges or layers of the under-robe(s) appear to be black. From other examples, it is likely he is also wearing black tabi with white waraji. His zanpakutō is not visible with this outfit.

Kaname Tousen---

Tōsen has dark skin and dark brown hair (purple in the anime). He wears the traditional Soul Reaper uniform with the sleeves rolled up to the shoulder and his captain's haori over it; the uniform is tied with a purple obi sash. He also wears an orange scarf around his neck, white boots, and black, fingerless gloves. He has been blind since birth. He usually wears a clear visor, although this was not always the case. Tōsen's creed in life is to "take the path with the least bloodshed". It was for this reason that he felt it necessary to follow Sosuke Aizen. Tōsen, along with Gin Ichimaru were identified by Kenpachi Zaraki as being afraid of death.
Tōsen, like Aizen and Gin, has changed his outfit after defecting from Soul Soceity. He now wears clothing similar to the arrancar along with longer gloves, smaller goggles, and his hair in what appears to be shoulder length dreadlocks. Tōsen also has several unique relationships with the arrancar. Tōsen thinks of Grimmjow Jeagerjaques in the same matter as Kenpachi Zaraki; a killing machine that will cause only more bloodshed in the world. Wonderweiss Magara seems to have an attachment towards him. Tōsen explains that this is because they are both pure spirits, and that pure spirits tend to attract and follow each other. In a recent omake, Tōsen takes over Gin Ichimaru's Arrancar Research Time where he literally cuts Gin out of the picture. Tōsen goes on to explain the use of the Orb of Distortion, ending with him patting Wonderweiss affectionately.

Espada

Espada are the Elites in Diamond Rebellion. The Espada at the time of the group's introduction consists of nine males and one female. Each Espada member is chosen for their superior combat ability and then assigned a number from 1 to 10 that indicates their rank and relative power level, which is tattooed somewhere on their body (Grimmjow's is on his lower back, for instance). The Espada are given control over the Numeros (11 and above) and are regarded as the strongest arrancar in existence. Similar to the power gap between Captains and Lieutenants in the Gotei 13, the strength of the Espada far surpasses that of the average Número. As Aaroniero Arruruerie notes, all of the Espada except him were at least adjuchas-class menos before becoming arrancar.

Stark____________

A male arrancar who appears to be very lazy; he is seen sleeping when the Espada learn of Aaroniero Arruruerie's death, and does not appear overly concerned by the news. He has a goatee and dark brown shoulder-length hair parted down the middle. The remains of his hollow mask consist of a bottom jaw that is positioned like a necklace. His hollow hole is on his sternum, right below the tip of his mask. While his combat abilities have not been shown, he is at the least very fast, as he manages to kidnap Orihime Inoue while Kenpachi Zaraki and Ichigo Kurosaki are only a few feet away and take her to Aizen in a matter of moments. Stark's Fracción is Lilinette, a young-looking female arrancar. Her outfit is quite revealing, consisting of little more than a pair of briefs and a vest strapped over her torso, with her hollow hole positioned prominently in the center of the outfit. Her hair is short and pale green. Her mask fragment takes the form of a helmet, similar to Ulquiorra Schiffer's but intact. A sort of eyepiece also extends over her left eye, decorated with a flame-like pattern. She seems quite mischievous, in that she enjoys waking Stark up in unusual ways: first by shoving her fist in his throat, then by squeezing his testicles. Despite her initially childish behavior, she does seem to show some concern for the ominous occurrences in Hueco Mundo, more so than Stark

Halibel____________

The only current female Espada. She has dark skin, green eyes, spiky blonde hair with several braided locks, and wears an oddly-cut variation of the arrancar jacket that bares about half of her breasts. The jacket is extended slightly in the anime to completely cover them. Halibel carries her zanpakutō on her back; the sword itself is notably broad and short compared to others and has a western-style guard. The remnants of her hollow mask are partially covered by her collar, but it is clear that she at least has pieces of mask on both sides of her cheeks. Halibel rarely speaks, and when she does it's fairly serious, such as when she tells her subordinates that being afraid of an Espada's released form is a natural reaction. Halibel's Fracción consists of three female arrancar: Apache, Mila Rose, and Sun-sun. Apache is a tomboy-ish arrancar with mismatching eye colors, one blue and one orange; the latter eye has a red ring around it. Apache's mask fragment is on the top of her head with a horn in the middle much like that of a unocorn. Apache has not been shown to carry a zanpakutō. Mila Rose is a dark-skinned arrancar who dresses like an Amazon warrior. Her mask fragments form a three-sectioned crown around her head and a thick necklace. Her hollow hole is positioned midway between her navel and breasts. She has been shown to be holding some kind of wrapped stick, but it is unclear if it is her zanpakutō. Sun-Sun dresses somewhat like Luppi, with sleeves that extend well past her hands. She also has two belts criss-crossing each other on her waist. Sun-sun has long, flowing green hair and three dots below her right eye. Her mask remnants create three hair clip-like extensions on the right side of her hair. Her hollow hole isn't visible. She seems to be the most mature of Halibel's Fracción, advising Apache and Mira Rose to stop arguing, as it makes them look weak, then chiding their angry responses.

Barragan________________

A stout, older, and grumpy arrancar. The remnant of his mask takes the form of a five-pointed crown. He also bears large visible scars on the left side of his chin and across his right eye. He wears a short sleeved jacket with a fur collar. In addition to a standard obi, he also wears a belt consisting of three thick chains attached to a large metal buckler with a sun emblem. He has four large Fracción which are currently unknown.

Ulquiorra Schiffer________________

Ulquiorra is a male arrancar with a melancholic appearance and has green eyes with slit pupils. He has cyan lines descending from his eyes, making it appear as if he is crying, and is almost always frowning. He wears typical arrancar clothes: a white jacket, black sash, and a white hakima; however, his jacket has longer coat-tails than others. Like most other arrancar, he possesses remnants of his former life as a hollow in his appearance. In his first appearance, Ulquiorra's hollow hole is positioned at the base of his neck, but when Ichigo encounters Ulquiorra in Las Noches, it has been moved onto his chest. The remainder of his hollow mask lies on top of his head, forming a broken helmet, much like that of the example silhouette of a Vasto Lorde. His Espada number, four, signifying his rank amongst the Espada and level of power, is tattooed on the left side of his chest. Ulquiorra is a very cold and callous figure, hitting his comrade Yammy in the stomach with his arm on one occasion in an effort to get his attention. Furthermore, he displays extreme disinterest in the greater portion of his battle, tending to keep his hands in his pockets while he fights. He also deems anyone he does not find of particular interest to be "trash" and therefore expendable. As noted byGrimmjow Jeagerjaques, Ulquiorra has a habit of stabbing people in the same location as his hollow hole whenever he's particularly interested in a battle. Whether he is consciously aware of this habit or not is unknown. Ulquiorra is also analytical; during his and Yammy's first visit to the human world, he makes several remarks on the humans who confront them. He theorizes that Orihime's healing power is a temporal-spatial ability, which Aizen describes as the rejection of fate, and comments on how Ichigo Kurasaki's bankai can easily get through Yammy's defenses. He also notes Ichigo's power fluctuation, which varies between very weak to stronger than his own. It would appear that Ulquiorra and Grimmjow, the 6th Espada, are not on good terms. While Ulquiorra allowed Yammy to kill anyone he deemed as "trash", which included Ichigo, Ulquiorra allowed him to live based on his belief that Ichigo's power was so turbulent that eventually he would destroy himself. Grimmjow's conflicting viewpoint was that Ichigo should have been destroyed outright, as he could overcome his weakness and grow even stronger. Despite Grimmjow's argument, Aizen trusted Ulquiorra's judgement.

Nnoitra Jiruga____________

The 5th Espada, signified by the "5" tattoo on his tongue. He is an extremely tall and lanky arrancar, especially with the large hood-like collar of his jacket standing straight up. He has long, black hair, and typically wears a huge smile on his face which reveals his upper teeth. Nnoitra also wears a large eye-patch that covers most of the left side of his face. His hollow hole and mask fragments are behind the eyepatch, the latter consisting of a small set of jawbones and teeth surrounding his hollow hole. Nnoitra is rude and lecherous, accented by his serpent-like features and his nickname for Orihime Inoue: "pet". He seems to firmly believe in male chauvinism, and makes a point of disgracing any female arrancar in a position of authority over men. This resulted in his sneak-attack on the previous third Espada Nel Tu as revenge for constantly defeating him in battle; after this, he expelled her from Las Noches, hoping to be stronger by the time she returned. Ultimately, Nnoitra desires to prove that his strength is the greatest of the Espada, and takes advantage of any weakness to achieve this end; however, he generally does not bother attacking opponents who appear unconscious or incapacitated. It is revealed that this stems from an inferoity complex he developed whilst serving with Nel Tu. Nnoitra attacks Yasutora Sado after his defeat of Gantenbainne Mosqueda, though is disappointed with how quickly he wins. Nnoitra then heads off to battle Ichigo Kurosaki once the latter has defeated Grimmjow Jeagerjaques. With Ichigo weakened and unable to defend himself, Nel Tu briefly fights in his place; though she almost defeats him with her released form, her reversion to a child leaves her no match for Nnoitra. It is not until Kenpachi Zaraki arrives that Nnoitra is drawn off. The two exchange increasingly more devastating blows, each finding great enjoyment in the fact that they can survive one another's attacks and therefore prolong the battle. Kenpachi, via the use of kendo, eventually claims victory once Nnoitra is no longer able to endure his attacks. Having the self-proclaimed toughest hierro of any Espada, past or present, Nnoitra can deflect powerful attacks without any sign of injury. He has the ability to track and measure sources of spiritual power by touching his fingertip to the ground. He fires cero blasts from the tip of his tongue. His zanpakutō, Santa Teresa Spanish alternative name for Mantis religiosa, Japanese for "sacred crying mantis"), takes the form of a giant axe-like weapon bearing two crescent moon blades fused together at their backs with a large-looped chain connected to a ring at the knob of the shaft. In flashbacks to his time as the 8th Espada, Nnoitra's zanpakutō only possesses one outward-facing crescent moon, as opposed to the two it features now. Its release command is "pray" When released, Nnoitra gains an additional sets of arms, and his zanpakutō splits into four identical scythe-like blades produced from the folds of his wrists. He can grow a second set of arms to surprise opponents, which can also produce another set of blades. His hollow mask changes, looking torn and gaining jagged teeth, and he grows a pair of horns on his head, one longer on one side than the other, mimicking the crescent shape of his sealed zanpakutō. Nnoitra's wounds heal almost instantly in his released state, and he can also regenerate severed limbs.

Grimmjow Jeagerjaques______________

Grimmjow has light blue hair and eyes, which have blue/green lines below them similar to the eye markings on the Panthera genus of cats as well as the red marks on Ikkaku Madarame's eyes. Grimmjow's attire consists of a white hakama and a black sash; his white jacket is ragged with an upyurned collar. The inner lining is black, the sleeves are rolled up, and Grimmjow wears it open, leaving his chest revealed. The remains of his hollow mask consist of the right jawbone, and his hollow hole has moved to his abdomen. Grimmjow appears to be a laid back and irreverent individual at first glance, but this scruffy exterior hides an impulsive, excessively violent personality and a lethally short temper. Grimmjow is blunt, rude, and quite sadistic, revealing a psychotic grin whenever he becomes excited, much like Kenpachi Zaraki. He displays little respect for authority and says whatever is on his mind, regardless of whether or not it is appropriate. This attitude leads to conflicts with Kaname Tousen, who holds Grimmjow in the same low regard as he did Zaraki. He also has conflicts with Ulquiorra Schiffer the 4th Espada, usually because Ulquiorra interrupts his battles or otherwise clashes with Grimmjow's ideals, and confidently believes Ulquiorra's powers to be weaker than his, a point he is eager to make clear to him. He additionally develops a grudge against Ichigo Kurasaki for wounding him during their first and second fights, and is eager to return the favor. He purposefully kept the large scar on his chest from their first battle as a reminder of this. Grimmjow is also infuriated by Ichigo's belief that he can defeat him regardless of how badly he is injured, which Grimmjow sees as Ichigo looking down on him. Grimmjow is the Sexta Espada in Sosuke Aizen's army of arrancar, meaning he is ranked sixth in terms of strength. Grimmjow was the first character to be revealed as an Espada in the series. A crooked number 6 is tattooed on his back just above and to the right of his hollow hole, personally placed on him by Aizen as a mark of his rank and ability among the Espada. After Kaname Tousen cuts off and burns his arm, Grimmjow is demoted and quickly replaced by Luppi, much to his annoyance. After Orihime Inoue heals his arm, he brutally butchers Luppi to regain his rank, impaling him on his newly restored arm and then vaporizing Luppi's torso with a cero blast. Grimmjow is a very rude and disrespectful character. He uses none of the honorifics in the Japanese language, except when addressing Aizen (though he is quick to discard the formality when Aizen is not around), and refers to Orihime as woman in conversation. However, he does appear to have some sort of a code of honor, as he is unwilling to fight an injured Ichigo, bringing Orihime to heal him beforehand so their battle will be a fair one. He also saves Orihime from two female arrancar beating her to repay the debt of restoring his arm, though he immediately asks for another favor afterwards. Despite his aggression and obvious bloodlust in battle, he possesses a feral cunning and has a knack for quickly exploiting any opening his opponent reveals.

Zommari Leroux______________

The 7th Espada. He is a tall, dark-skinned arrancar who displays a calm, contemplative personality and rarely speaks prior to his confrontation with Byakuya Kuchiki. The remnants of his hollow mask consist of a small row of bony spikes extending along the crest of his head, skull-shaped earrings, and a bony necklace. After learning of Aaroniero Arruruerie's death, Zommari goes to kill Aaroniero's killer, Rukia Kuchiki. He is interrupted by her brother, Byakuya Kuchiki, and the two do battle. Though he releases his zanpakutō and tries to use its abilities against Byakuya, Zommari is no match for Byakuya's bankai. Realizing that he has lost, he angrily dismisses Soul Reapers as arrogant for believing they have a right to hunt and judge hollows simply because they consider them evil. Byakuya counters that Zommari's attempt to harm Rukia (his "pride") is what has sealed his fate, and strikes him down. Zommari dies shouting his praise for Aizen. Zommari has the self-proclaimed fastest sonído among the Espada. With his sonído he can leave up to five afterimages of himself behind when he moves, which earned it the name Gemelos Sonido Spanish for "twins sound," Japanese for "twin resounding revolution". His zanpakutō is called Brujería Spanish for "witchcraft," Japanese for "sangha of bewitching eyes" and resembles a short sword, or wakizashi, with a guard that appears as a thick disk with spikes around the rim. It is released by the command "suppress". When released, Brujería covers his entire body with forty-eight open eyes, and his legs are replaced by a pumpkin-like structure surrounded by cycloptic faces and many of these eyes. Using the eyes on his body, Zommari can take control of one object per eye. He refers to the effect as amor (Spanish for "love"). Although he can take control of an opponent's limbs individually, he can also take control of their entire body by targeting their head. The release can also be used as a defensive resource, as its lower half can become a full sphere that covers his upper body.

Szayel Aporro Granz_____________-

The 8th Espada and Yylfordt Granz's younger brother. He has shoulder-length pink hair and reddish-orange eyes. The remains of his hollow mask take the form of rectangular-framed glasses that give him a scholarly appearance. Szayel is an intellectual and the scientist of the Espada, thinking highly of himself and following his plans down to the finest detail. He is quite sadistic and views others as little more than research material, similar to Mayuri Kurotsuchi's views. He thinks poorly of non-hollows, and hopes that Aizen will someday eliminate all entities that aren't hollows. Szayel has a variety of methods for analyzing an opponent's abilities, such as studying the damage done to their former opponents. Once doing so, Szayel can nullify the effects of their abilities, making him virtually immune to their attacks. In addition to the immunities gained from studying his opponents, Szayel has his own Fracción. He has personally modified each of them so that he can heal his wounds by eating them. Those so devoured can be recreated later. Szayel's zanpakutō is Fornicarás Spanish for "Will fornicate," Japanese for "Lewd concubine". Its release command is "sip". Szayel releases his zanpakutō by swallowing it. His body then swells to enormous proportions and explodes, revealing Szayel's released form. In his released form, Szayel grows a pair of wing-shaped structures from his back while his lower body transforms into a flock of long tentacles. Blood-like liquid drips from his clothes, fingertips, and wings in this state. He also has three red lines coming from his left eye and his hollow "glasses" change shape, forming into what appear to be broken goggles. Szayel's released state grants him a number of different abilities. When droplets of the liquid dripping from his body touch an opponent, a copy of them is created that uses their own abilities against them. Szayel occasionally alters these clones' appearances to make them more aesthetically suitable. By wrapping an opponent in his wings, Szayel can create voodoo dolls of them. Any damage done to the dolls' internal organs (accessed by taking them apart and removing the organs with no damage to the original) is done to the original, debilitating them from the inside. Should he be eaten, Szayel can gain control of the opponent's nervous system, allowing him to gain complete control of their body. His final ability, called "Gabriel", allows him to be reborn if he is injured beyond repair by impregnating an enemy. He then devours his way out of their body, killing them in the process. Szayel takes great pride in this ability, comparing it to that of a phoenix. Szayel engages Renji Abarai and Uryū Ishida in battle, during the course of which he nullifies each of their abilities and damages them enough to be in a non-combative state. Just as he loses interest in them and is about to finish them off, Mayuri Kurotsuchi arrives to help them. Being of equal scientific and analytical ability as Szayel, Mayuri is able to render all of Szayel's abilities useless. When Szayel reconstitutes himself inside of Nemu Kurotsuchi after Mayuri kills him, he inadvertently ingests a large dosage of poison inside Nemu which vastly augments his reaction time and perceptions, to the point where one second seems like a century to him. With his physical body unable to compensate for his over-enhanced mental state, Szayel is effectively paralyzed. Mayuri stabs him through his hand and heart and breaks the blade off, leaving Szayel to suffer for what seems as an eternity to him, while begging for a quick death.

Aaroniero Arruruerie___________

The 9th Espada and the last of the first-generation Espada. He has an unusual glass capsule filled with red liquid and two floating masks in place of a head, which he usually covers with a tall white mask. The two masks are both tattooed with the number 9, signifying his rank, and tend to talk in tandem when revealed, giving the effect of two people speaking in turn. The upper mask speaks with a deep voice while the other speaks in a high-pitched, child-like voice, and appear to have a level of individuality. Aaroniero is the only gillian-born arrancar among the Espada. His unique ability to absorb other hollows in their entirety is what allowed him to retain his position. While all hollows can cannibalize each other to gain power, Aaroniero can absorb not only their extra power, but their unique abilities as well. Once a hollow is absorbed in this fashion, Aaroniero can manifest any aspect of them at will, including their physical form. Through an unusual series of events, he also absorbs the Soul Reaper abilities of Kaien Shiba by eating Metastacia. The weakness of this power is sunlight, which nullifies it on contact and reveals Aaroniero's true form. Aaroniero also possesses Synchronized Recognition the ability to broadcast information of whatever he is currently seeing or experiencing to other arrancar, which he does prior to his death at the hands of Rukia Kuchiki. Aaroniero's zanpakutō is Glotonería Spanish for "gluttony," Japanese for "eating hollow" It is activated by the command "devour". When sealed, it takes the form of a deformed arm-like appendage with many sprouting tentacles that is concealed under a glove. When released, it turns Aaroniero's lower body into a huge, purple, octopus-like mass with dozens of tentacles and cartoonish mouth-like mask pieces. This form represents the combined form of the 33,650 hollows he has absorbed. With Glotonería released, Aaroniero can access the full range of his abilities at will, as opposed to the single ability limit imposed on him when it is sealed.

Yammy____________

The 10th Espada. He is a giant, dark-skinned arrancar with a distinct ridged cranium and a black pony-tail. What remains of his hollow mask is the jawbone, which rests on his chin. A tattoo of the number ten, signifying Yammy's rank and level of power amongst the Espada, is on his left shoulder. Not the most intelligent individual, Yammy relies on his brute strength in battle, taking little interest in using his sword until he is overpowered. In addition to his strength, he makes use of cero and bala blasts, like many other high-class hollows and arrancar. He relies on his superior, Ulquiorra Schiffer, to explain things and give him orders while in battle. Aside from his fighting abilities, Yammy can suck the souls from living humans en masse using gonzui Japanese for "soul breath". It affects a wide area, but any individual with even slight spiritual power is able to resist it.

Arrancar

Shawlong Koufang____________

Shawlong Koufang has a long face and black hair, which is braided and usually hanging over his shoulder. What remains of his mask is on the top of his head, but a portion drops down covering part of his face. Shawlong is an intellectual, or at least an analyst, able to confidently state the nature of his opponent's powers. He is killed by Tōshirō Hitsugaya. Shawlong was a member, and possibly the leader, of a group formed by himself, Edrad Liones, Yylfordt Granz, Di Roy, and Nakeem. They wanted to become vasto lordes by eating other hollows and thereby decided to join forces with the adjuchas-class menos, Grimmjow Jeagerjaques, whom Shawlong proposed be their "king". However, upon learning that they could evolve no further, Shawlong asked him to eat a part of each of them. Shawlong's Zanpakuto is named Tijereta Spanish for earwig, Japanese for five-pincered insect. It is released with the phrase "snip". When released, Shawlong grows armor covering his arms and upper chest with his hands transforming into long claws, his mask extends down to cover the left side of his face and his queue becomes a tail with claws.

Edrad Liones____________

Edrad Liones, named in the English manga as Edorad Leones, appears to be a very large man, with long red hair; however, half of his hair is shaved and black. The remains of his hollow mask are merely the eye holes, which rest on his nose, and it essentially looks as if he wears unusual glasses. He has a high amount of pride as an arrancar, as he is ashamed to draw his zanpakutō against an enemy, and despises those who fight for fun, like Ikkaku Madarame. Despite his brutish appearance, he is a skilled tactician, able to see through Ikkaku's strategy and realise he was fighting for sport. He is eventually killed by Ikkaku after he releases his bankai. Edrad's zanpakutō is named Volcánica Borukanika Spanish for "volcanic," Japanese for "volcanic beast" and is released by the phrase "erupt". When Volcanica is released, his mask disappears and his arms are covered in what looks like volcanic rock, becoming much longer and wider in the process. An exhaust spout is located on each shoulder. He is able to shoot fire from his fists in this form.

Yylfordt Granz____________

Yylfordt is a sarcastic, effeminate arrancar with long blond hair. What remains of his hollow mask is on the top of his head, and looks like a broken helmet. He commonly refers to other characters as "brother" when speaking. He was the older brother of Szayel Aporro Granz, the 8th Espada. Yylfordt is fairly powerful for his rank, able to fight off Renji Aburai's bankai (at 20% power) without releasing his zanpakutō. In contrast, however, he is little match for the surprisingly strong Ururu Tsumugiya in his normal state, but easily dispatches her once he releases his zanpakutō. He is eventually killed by Renji, who notes that if Yylfordt hadn't been distracted, he might not have been able to defeat him.
Yylfordt's zanpakutō is named Del Toro Spanish for "of the bull," Japanese for "pale-horned prince" and is released by the phrase "skewer". When Del Toro is released, Yylfordt's upper body enlarges and is covered in bull-like armor, while his mask seems to completely regenerate, giving him horns. In this form, he walks on four legs and uses his horns to skewer opponents.

Di Roy____________

Di Roy's hollow mask remains are bulky and similar in shape to a hammerhead shark. The right-hand side of his mask is wrapped in bandages, which obscures his right eye — the bandages are meant to hide an injury given to him by Grimmjow when he was still a menos. When the bandages are unwrapped, there is a gash on the top of his mask. Identical to a hollow's eye, his right eye is a white circle surrounded by black shadows. He has square, shark-like teeth. He seems to love killing as seen from his disappointment in not being able to kill Yasutora Sado. He is noted for carrying his zanpakutō in his hands for much of his screentime.
Di Roy is killed by Rukia Kuchiki when she unveils her zanpakutō's shikai during the second attack on Karakura Town. During the battle, he claims that his "true battlefield is in the sky," suggesting that he fights better in the air; however, most arrancar seem to prefer this method of fighting. Di Roy is substantially weaker than his brethren, to the point that Yylfordt scornfully refers to him as an "arrancar in name only." His original hollow form was that of a snake-like creature with a shark head matching the remnants of his mask.

Nakeem____________

Nakeem, named as Nakim in the English manga, is a fat, silent arrancar, his only significant speech being an answer to a question shortly before his death. The remains of his hollow mask cover the entire right side of his face. Nakeem is killed by Rangiku Matsumoto. The name and exact abilities of Nakeem's zanpakutō are unknown, but in the later stages of his battle with Rangiku, he appears to have grown to an enormous size, large enough to crush her under his foot. Curiously, his physical appearance, height aside, did not change at all. Before becoming an arrancar, Nakeem had not yet evolved beyond the form of a gillian-class menos: aside from his unique mask, his appearance was no different from a standard gillian.

Patros____________

Patros is an anime-only arrancar. Patros is recognizable by his slicked back blue hair, a thin moustache, and notably sunken eyes. His mask covers the left half of his upper face, and his hollow hole is in his stomach. His outfit is similar to Ulquiorra Schiffer's, but with a high cut in the jacket that bares his hollow hole. Patros is a capable combatant, being able to match against Renji Abarai. Patros shows great pride in his ability, flaunting his powerful sword draws and generally treating opponents as trash. Patros is charismatic enough to have garnered two supporters, Menis and Aldegor. Menis is an effeminate arrancar with the jaw of his mask resting on the upper-left side of his head. His zanpakutō, Erizo, Spanish for "hedgehog", is released with the command "stab" and gives Menis three segmented, tail-like appendages with sharp ends to attack with. Aldegor is taller and bulkier with black hair. The remains of his mask cover the upper left quarter of his face. He dies of wounds apparently inflicted during his battle with Ikkaku Madarame after expressing regret at having followed Patros. Aldegor's zanpakutō, Jabalí , Spanish for "boar", is released with the command "get them", grows six hinged appendages from Aldegor's back, which can either block attacks or curl around him to form a sphere. Both are killed in short order. Patros' zanpakutō is Jerifalte Spanish for "leader". It takes the form of a normal Katana with a diamond-shaped guard when sealed. The sheath and grip are yellow. Patros' zanpakutō is not used like a normal sword in combat; instead of attacking with it, Patros can fire energy blasts from long range by quickly drawing and resheathing the sword, in a style reminiscent of iaidō. The attack has twenty different levels to it, each stronger than the last. The weakness of the technique is how it's performed: in order to build up the energy, Patros must sheath the sword. If prevented from doing so, the technique is rendered useless. Jerifalte's released form, activated by the command "pollute", covers Patros' upper body in armor and grows his mask over all but the upper-right side of his head. It also transforms his right arm into a hinge-like copy of his sealed zanpakutō. His left arm, while appearing the same, opens at the middle to generate energy blasts. Dissatisfied with working under a shinigami, Patros steals the Orb of Distortion to mount a coup. Lacking knowledge of its use, he attempts to track down Kisuke Urahara, its inventor. He is killed by Renji with the assistance of Ririn, Kuroud, and Noba. His plot, meanwhile, is revealed to be nothing more than manipulation on Aizen's part, and the orb he stole merely a useless trinket. Aizen used this opportunity to eliminate dissension amongst the arrancar ranks and amuse himself in the process. More importantly, however, the distraction of three hostile arrancar allowed Ulquiorra to investigate traces of Orihime's power in preparation for the next stage of Aizen's plans.
